Financial Institutions Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Institutions Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Financial Institutions in various tasks.
The primary focus of this position is to facilitate customer and counterparty acquisition and access, manage correspondent banking activities, and monitor trade finance business with credible counterparties in both Singapore and China markets.
You will also be required to market and promote our financial products, manage credit lines, and perform customer due diligence measures as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and manage relationships with customers and counterparties
- Manage correspondent banking activities, including Nostro and Vostro accounts
- Monitor trade finance business and identify opportunities for growth
- Market and promote financial products
- Manage credit lines and liaise with head office and sister branches
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
- Strong interest in front-office roles and eagerness to learn
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in English and Chinese languages
