Cloud Systems Infrastructure Engineer

The Cloud Systems Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Key responsibilities include administering and maintaining Linux-based systems in a cloud environment, automating infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, and implementing security best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, S3, and other AWS services.
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat).
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration in the cloud.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience securing AWS resources. Experience with networking concepts like VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, and Load Balancers in AWS.
- Expertise in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and system management. Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
