Job Opportunity

Etiqa is seeking a results-driven professional to expand its Commercial and Travel Insurance portfolios.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing clients and solicit new business in commercial lines, including SMEs and government agencies.
  • Assess clients' business risks and tailor insurance solutions across property, liability, business interruption, and other risks.
  • Lead and manage tender processes from opportunity identification to proposal submission and contract management.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure smooth policy servicing and claims handling.
  • Share market insights, contribute innovative ideas, and improve distribution models as a subject matter expert.
  • Assist HOD with new product development and deployment.
  • Participate in business transformation initiatives to drive improvements.
  • Travel Insurance:
  • Drive growth through partnerships with travel agencies and related distribution channels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents to promote engagement and revenue.
  • Enhance Etiqa's branding as a trusted travel insurance provider.
  • Conduct product and system training to improve sales effectiveness and ensure compliance.
  • Plan and execute sales campaigns to meet revenue goals.
  • Review partner performance regularly and address issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitors to keep our offerings ahead.
  • Lead projects to improve products and customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
  • Certification: PGI and ComGI are mandatory.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in business development within the insurance industry.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a sales and service mindset. Experience in launching new products and familiarity with agile methodologies. Proficiency in performance analysis, PowerPoint, business proposals, and contracts.
