Worship Pastor Position

The International Baptist Church of Singapore seeks a Worship Pastor to provide spiritual leadership for our Worship Arts Ministry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pastoral care to those in the Worship Arts Ministry and congregation members, fostering strong relationships and a sense of belonging.
  • Develop and oversee a Worship Art Ministry strategy that engages multiple generations and encourages congregational participation, promoting unity and inclusivity.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Pastor and other ministry leaders to ensure worship services align with sermon themes and church-wide initiatives, reflecting our shared vision and values.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor worship team members, nurturing their spiritual growth and musical excellence, while encouraging collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Trained musically with a seminary degree preferred, demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
  • Relational interpersonal skills for working with adults, students, and children of all ages within the congregation, showcasing empathy, patience, and understanding.
  • Gifted in communication, instrumental (piano or guitar), and vocal music, able to inspire and motivate others through their talents.
  • Self-motivated with a teachable spirit to grow as a person and leader, and strong team player among fellow staff, valuing diversity and celebrating individual contributions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years as a Worship Pastor in a church with a congregation of 500 worshippers, providing valuable experience and insight.
  • Experience ministering in an international congregational context with multi-lingual appreciation, embracing cultural diversity and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
