Senior Capacity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Capacity Specialist to join our team in the APAC region. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining critical facilities infrastructure and delivering best-in-class service to our data center customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical mindset and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer requests for hub deployments using FIFO methods, escalating complex cases to senior members as necessary.
  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders, including Operations Engineers and Sales Engineers, to ensure seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
  • Develop process designs for deployments and resolve issues directly or escalate them to relevant colleagues as required.
  • Collaborate with Manager or Senior Engineers to design and implement complex deployments.
  • Ensure cooling support through airflow calculations or escalate for CFD modeling as necessary.
  • Verify power support by checking infrastructure and escalating circuit management concerns.
  • Escalate HPD deployment issues as needed and ensure design fit within data centers.
  • Triage or escalate concerns that may impact colocation or density in sellable space.
  • Communicate site infrastructure constraints to DA&E teams.
  • Update CAD drawings for proposed designs and deployments.
  • Resolve cabinet/cage discrepancies between physical deployments and virtual records.
  • Address DQM issues, create USID, and associated inventory objects.
  • Collaborate with regional peers and AP project teams on capacity and customer obligations.
Qualifications, Key Skills, and Attributes:
  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through complex technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with power and cooling in data centers or similar industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, CAD exposure, and ability to maintain complex information.
