Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing process improvement ideas via the management of change system and/or non-regular work system.

About the Role:\

  • \
  • Implement process improvement ideas to enhance process efficiency, occupational safety, product safety and quality, reduce energy consumption, improve production capacity and productivity, and decrease costs.\
  • Draft process improvement ideas with clear objectives to drive business results.\
  • Coordinate, arrange, and plan new grade trial runs with R&D and operation teams, handle trial runs, and evaluate their outcomes.\
  • Evaluate process performance and key process parameters from a long-term perspective and/or periodically to identify potential risks that may lead to plant instability, safety, or quality issues.\
  • Troubleshoot plant troubles related to process, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective and preventive measures as part of process engineering functions.\
  • Participate actively in HAZOP, FMEA, and control plan studies as part of process engineering functions to improve safety and quality.\
  • Oversee process-related capital expenditure projects from conceptual design up to Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and lead assigned projects.\
  • Study and implement Industry 4.0 related technologies to drive productivity improvements and process enhancements.\
  • Participate in company EHSQ programs and collaborate on promoting and improving their effectiveness.\
  • Possess a degree in Chemical Engineering.\
  • Be able to multitask and handle a wide range of responsibilities effectively.\
  • Have good interpersonal skills and strong analytical abilities.\

    Required Skills and Qualifications:\

    • A degree in Chemical Engineering is required.\
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.\
    • Strong understanding of process engineering principles and concepts.\
    • Familiarity with industry 4.0 technologies and their applications.\
    • Experience with HAZOP, FMEA, and control plan studies.\
    • Good interpersonal and leadership skills.\
