Research and Development Specialist

  • Spearhead innovation projects by collaborating with senior technical professionals.
  • Conduct thorough research on new construction materials, focusing on pavement engineering.
  • Design and execute comprehensive testing procedures for various materials.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control of products.
  • Prepare and submit detailed test reports to clients.
  • Conduct field-based pavement testing.
  • Assist in obtaining relevant accreditations.
  • Develop quotations and invoices for test services provided to clients.
  • Support proposals for tender submissions and secure funding.
  • Provide technical assistance to group companies.
  • Engage in staff training and knowledge sharing activities.
  • Host visitors at the Samwoh Smart Hub.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by superiors or management.

Requirements

  • Hold a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Possess excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues to achieve business outcomes.
  • Collaborate as part of a team to drive results.
  • Display strong analytical skills in data collection and results interpretation.
  • Exhibit high motivation levels.

 

About This Role

This role involves spearheading innovation projects, conducting research, designing testing procedures, and ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Civil Engineering, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.
