Geotechnical Instrumentation Specialist
Job Description:
Our team is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Instrumentation Specialist to propose and implement engineering solutions for clients. This role involves hands-on monitoring of sensors, instruments, and equipment, as well as instructing and supervising site personnel to ensure accurate data processing and submission of reports.
In addition, the successful candidate will attend project meetings, schedule control, and obtain permits for on-site installation and commissioning of monitoring systems. They will also be responsible for designing, planning, and coordinating geotechnical instrumentation projects, including obtaining necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering or geology and at least 5 years of experience in geotechnical instrumentation and site investigation works. Prior experience with large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable. The selected candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as an indefatigable determination to deliver high-quality results under challenging conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propose and implement engineering solutions for clients
- Monitor sensors, instruments, and equipment on-site
- Supervise and instruct site personnel on data processing and report submission
- Attend project meetings and schedule control
- Obtain permits for on-site installation and commissioning of monitoring systems
- Design, plan, and coordinate geotechnical instrumentation projects
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies
Required Qualifications:
- Responsible for preparing all necessary reports as specified in the contract documents, client submissions, any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Work Location: Tampines Area. 6 Days work per week.
