Senior Geotechnical Instrumentation Specialist

This is a pivotal role that involves spearheading geotechnical instrumentation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating comprehensive engineering documents, overseeing site personnel, and ensuring seamless data processing and analysis.
About the JobThe successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or geology, with at least three years of experience in major infrastructure projects. They must be proficient in geotechnical instrumentation and site investigation works, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities- Propose engineering documents for clients' approval, including on-site installation and hands-on monitoring of sensors, instruments, and equipment.
- Supervise, manage, and monitor site personnel to ensure data processing, review, analysis, submission of reports.
- Attend project meetings, schedule control, submit for permits for on-site installation, set up, and commission monitoring.
- Assist in designing, planning, and coordinating geotechnical instrumentation projects, providing input into health, safety, environmental and quality policies.
- Liaise and coordinate with client for installation and monitoring issues while overseeing all instrumentation works.
- Prepare all necessary reports as specified in the contract's documents and client submission.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology recognised by the PE Board along with 3 years relevant experience in major infrastructure projects.
- Working experience in geotechnical instrumentation and site investigation works.
- Physically fit and able to withstand challenging working conditions.
- Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under challenging conditions.
- Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
