This position plays a critical part in integrating data engineering teams with banking operations, driving data-informed decision-making, and supporting strategic transformation efforts across the organization.
- Support planning and execution of pre-study activities across multiple workstreams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements
- Translate banking business needs into technical specifications for data lake solutions
- Work closely with data engineering teams to design and validate Databricks-based pipelines and analytics workflows
- Analyze core banking processes and identify opportunities for data-driven optimization
- Support data governance, lineage, and quality initiatives across banking datasets
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder reviews, and UAT sessions
- Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and business requirement documents
- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies related to data and banking systems
- Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations
Required Skills:
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Finance, or related field
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or similar data lake technologies
- Strong understanding of Core Banking systems
- Familiarity with data modelling, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms
- Proficiency in tools like SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Power BI
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a client-facing role, with a proven track record of managing client relationships
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
- Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance data frameworks
- Knowledge of banking data standards and metadata management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
