HSBC is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Assurance Vice President to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance Assurance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of regulatory and financial crime risks across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assurance activities over regulatory compliance and financial crime risks, ensuring alignment with the bank's Risk Management Framework.
- Contribute to the delivery of end-to-end assurance work, assessing the effectiveness of risk management activities to meet industry standards, country regulatory obligations, and bank policy.
- Lead and contribute to assurance reviews across multiple Global Businesses/Functions in Singapore, managing effective relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues.
- Support the design and execution of assurance activities, ensuring all relevant standards, policies, and procedures are met.
- Provide subject matter expertise to colleagues, advising on the identification of appropriate review scope and delivery of assurance activities.
- Internal Audit and Assurance experience with regulatory compliance and/or financial crime knowledge.
- Relevant external financial services qualification.
- Clear understanding of regulatory and/or financial crime compliance risk within the global financial services industry.
- Ability to build positive and resilient partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Lateral thinking with an ability to interpret and solve complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills with very strong inter-personal and influencing skills.
- Track record of working autonomously.
- Decision-making capability.
