Job Title: IT Systems Specialist

As a highly skilled IT Systems Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of complex IT systems.

This involves performing L1 troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with various technologies. You will perform periodic preventive maintenance of IT systems, including OS and security patches and updates.

  • Perform regular system checks to prevent downtime.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors or equipment suppliers to resolve problems.
  • Work independently to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Assist in maintaining day and night shift schedules as required by the role.
  • Travel to various client facilities for work assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks to minimize system downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement effective troubleshooting strategies to optimize system performance.
  • Analyze system logs to identify potential issues before they occur.
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure system reliability.

Requirements:

  • Nitec or Diploma in IT or Electronics-related discipline preferred.
  • Singaporean citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with IT system maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in an independent environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
