People and Culture Manager

This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that align with the hotel's business objectives.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and be able to provide guidance on people-related matters.
  • They will champion the brand's culture, values, and employee engagement initiatives.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

The successful candidate will manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate selection.

  • They will build strong employer branding to attract talent suited to lifestyle hospitality.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation programs that integrate new hires into the culture.
Learning & Development

The People and Culture Manager will identify training needs across departments and design programs that enhance skills and service delivery.

  • Partner with external trainers or corporate learning teams for specialized modules.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and staff progression through development plans.
Employee Engagement & Culture

This role will implement initiatives that promote staff satisfaction, diversity, and inclusion.

  • Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and well-being initiatives.
  • Act as a mediator in conflict resolution and employee relations.
Performance Management & Succession Planning

The People and Culture Manager will drive the performance appraisal process, ensuring fairness and alignment with business goals.

  • Work with managers to set KPIs and development goals for their teams.
  • Identify and groom future leaders within the hotel.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

This role will oversee payroll accuracy, employee benefits, and welfare programs in partnership with Finance.

  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, Work Injury Compensation Act, CPF, and other statutory requirements.
  • Develop fair and competitive compensation frameworks to attract and retain talent.
HR Administration & Systems

The People and Culture Manager will maintain accurate employee records, HRIS systems, and reports.

  • Prepare HR metrics (turnover, headcount, absenteeism, training hours) for management and owners.
  • Continuously improve HR processes through technology and automation.
