Lead ICT Development Engineer

This position is responsible for the deployment of advanced ICT techniques and technology to deliver electrical test solutions for customers. The role involves leading technical discussions with customers on behalf of a senior manager, developing test solutions, and continuously improving core competencies.

The successful candidate will have expertise in ICT and be able to interpret business and technical documentation. They will also have experience with platforms like Agilent, Genrad, Teradyne, TRI, or Checksum and advanced PC skills.

Key responsibilities include designing for test, hardware and software specification improvements, and defining test validation criteria. Additionally, the candidate will support proposed test solutions and project tracking, conduct design reviews with customers, and provide ICT-specific training as needed.

The ideal candidate will be able to integrate electrical tests using various platforms and develop test strategies that meet customer requirements. They will also be able to continuously improve their own knowledge and skills through research, training, and leadership courses.

Responsibilities:
  • Design for Test, hardware (fixture/tester) and software specification improvements, and defining test validation criteria.
  • Support proposed test solutions and project tracking (action items, journals, milestones, deliverables).
  • Conduct design reviews with customers and review test plans, specifications, and coverage.
  • Execute customer test crisis support, including escalated support requests and site requests.
  • Provide ICT-specific training as needed.
