Interface Development Specialist

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to ensure seamless coordination between different trades and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an interface schedule, aligning contractor and subcontractor work sequences, and coordinating temporary works such as access, protection, and M&E shutdowns.

• Deliver quality by ensuring that all subcontracts use the approved construction drawings and specifications at the site.
• Conduct inspections to ensure live services are terminated or isolated before work commences, keeping a record of findings and informing all parties at toolbox or other meetings.
• Request and provide advanced notice to the Technical Team when receipt of Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings is required.
• Ensure all shop drawings and materials are approved by consultants before work commences at the site.
• Coordinate with various trades for the sequence of works, using a short-term program to plan and monitor.
• Ensure protections of completed works are provided and report all damages by other trades.
• Raise Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Approval (RFA) to PM/Tech team for follow-up action.
• Implement defect alerts and eliminate repetitive defects.
• Conduct Contractors' Coordination meetings with trade and specialist subcontractors, including meeting minutes recorded and distributed for actions.
• Monitor off-site fabrication works and conduct quality inspections, assigning respective site supervisors to conduct necessary inspections.
• Coordinate all inspections between contractors and site staff, RE/RTO.
• Organize inspections involving specialist testers such as welding tests, pull-out tests, and others with approved testing agencies, including off-site testing and inspection.
• Sign off on all defects.
• Pprepare and distribute the site duty roster to the site team for night and overtime works.
• Achieve the required CONQUAS score and GM score.
• Organize, coordinate, and attend BIM coordination meetings, assisting in solving issues raised, including crash detection, conflict, and ensuring the model prepared complies with authorities, architects, and consultants.
• Develop an interface schedule identifying critical touchpoints between trades, systems, or phases.
• Align contractor and subcontractor work sequences to avoid work conflicts or delays.
• Ensure temporary works such as access, protection, M&E shutdowns are planned and coordinated.
• Coordinate shop drawings and ensure clash-free implementation.
