Job Title: Interface Management Specialist

Description:

The incumbent will be tasked with actively managing interface projects from inception to completion. This involves leading a team of system interface engineers in a site environment, acting as primary customer contact for ISCS Interface activities, and leading technical sessions with Customer, External Consultants and SWCs (System Wide Contractors) to discuss System Interface issues.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Lead a team of system interface engineers in a site environment
  • Act as primary customer contact for ISCS Interface activities
  • Lead technical sessions with Customer, External Consultants and SWCs (System Wide Contractors) to discuss System Interface issues
  • Manage and be fully responsible for the planning and schedule of interface testing with subsystems of major SWCs
  • Work closely with software development teams to drive technical development leading the delivery of ISCS software for ITC (Integrated Testing and Commissioning activities)

This role requires a high degree of self-management, as well as the ability to work under pressure and deliver projects within tight timelines. Strong communication and customer management skills are essential, as is the ability to work as a team player and team lead.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent required. At least 5 years of relevant experience in railway systems is necessary, as well as good communication and customer management skills. Ability to work under pressure and deliver projects within tight timelines is also crucial.
