Job Description

This role is focused on delivering high-quality psychotherapy and professional counselling services to address the needs of clients with mental health issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our services are delivered in a professional and effective manner, adhering to standards of therapy and promoting treatment efficacy for all clients.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in assessing clinical needs, planning, and providing treatment using evidence-based clinical models and treatment modalities. This includes individual and group psychotherapy/counselling, as well as crisis intervention.
  • They will also be able to modify treatment activities and approaches as needed, in response to changes in clients' progress and completing discharge plans. Establish positive therapeutic relationships with clients with mental health difficulties and act as their advocate in crisis situations.
  • The successful candidate will ensure compliance with our professional conduct and code of ethics, including the proper recording and prompt updating of clients' personal data, maintaining case history and progress notes with strict confidentiality.
  • They will participate in case supervision with relevant service partners and keep abreast of new developments in the field by reading professional literature, attending courses and seminars, and establishing and maintaining contact with other social service agencies.

Responsibilities

  1. Assess client therapeutic needs and functionalities
  2. Application of evidence-based therapeutic treatments for mental health issues
  3. Developing and executing group psychoeducational and psychotherapy programmes

Qualifications

  • Masters of Counselling/Clinical Psychology/Applied Psychology with first degree in Psychology
  • Minimum 2-years work experience in clinical work
