Job Title: Therapeutic Services Professional

This is a fulfilling role for those who want to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and communities. As a Therapeutic Services Professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic services that meet the unique needs of our clients.

About the Role:
  • Casework - Engagement & Assessment:
    • You will engage clients and their significant others in a therapeutic manner to understand their needs.
  • Casework - Case Review & Documentations:
    • You will draft social reports for complex cases to be reviewed by your supervisor.
    • You will implement and follow up on care/case plans and interventions to determine their suitability in addressing client needs and modify them where necessary.
  • Casework - Goal Setting & Intervention Plans:
    • You will represent the case in a case conference.
    • You will conceptualise and identify appropriate approaches to develop a care/case plan for the client.
    • You will help clients to develop and choose strategies and formulate viable plans.
  • Group Work:
    • You will foster positive relationships with individuals and groups through excellent interpersonal skills.
    • You will plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and modify therapeutic group work to address issues of target groups.
    • You will facilitate high-risk therapeutic group work under supervision.
  • Community Work:
    • You will design, develop and implement community-specific development programmes.
    • You will participate in community development initiatives and provide recommendations for consideration.
  • Professional Development & Education:
    • You will attend professional development courses to acquire professional knowledge and skills.
    • You will supervise interns and/or students on placement (if offered as Senior).
    • You will guide fresh/junior social workers (if offered as Senior).
  • Programme Development & Implementation:
    • You will review and refine programmes to target client groups or other stakeholders/agencies.
    • You will identify service gaps in response to client needs and make recommendations to improve service provision of programmes.
  • Research:
    • You will engage in multi-disciplinary team research projects.
    • You will support research efforts.
