  • Plan, conduct and manage life science related R&D experiments and routine operations with a focus on aquaculture such as husbandry, fish breeding, developmental biology, transcriptomics, routine molecular biology techniques, optimization of operations, diagnostics, health, genetics">
  • Work collaboratively with the project leader and co-project leaders to achieve the aim of research projects">
  • Mentor students involved in final year projects, internships, short-term work attachments and similar programs">
  • Support the procurement of consumables and equipment together with lab management">

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Aquaculture, Agriculture or Molecular Biology">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels">
  • Sound planning, organizing, multi-tasking skills with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned duties on time">
  • Proficient in IT skills">
  • Good documentation skills, laboratory techniques, research and data analysis skills">
  • Experience in aquaculture operations and/or research would be an added advantage">
