Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our team of room attendants and ensure exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include managing staff shifts, inspiring and training team members, maintaining cleanliness in public and private areas, educating housekeepers on upkeep and cleaning duties, monitoring work performance, inspecting room and common area cleanliness, planning shifts, establishing hygiene standards, encouraging team members, addressing client concerns, and restocking cleaning supplies.

Qualifications and Abilities:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of work history in a supervisory capacity in housekeeping or a related field
  • Practical experience performing maintenance and cleaning duties for large businesses
  • Possession of industrial cleaning tools and materials
  • Excellent planning and team leadership abilities
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings, with flexibility to handle physical demands of position
