Cleanliness Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Cleanliness Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom, office, and common areas in a childcare setting.

  • Cleaning all surfaces including floors, windows, doors, fans, shelves, cabinets, shoe racks, cubbies, children's tables, and chairs as well as the dining area.
  • Cleaning floor rugs, art and craft areas, and soft covers.
  • Responding to accidents when children soil themselves.
  • Removing rubbish from the classroom/office.
  • Washing dishes.
  • Maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies.
  • Assisting in the kitchen when needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role preferably in a childcare setting demonstrating competence in maintaining cleanliness.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards hygiene practices and proper cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with young children and adapt to their needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing bending lifting and moving around the student care center.
  • Certificate in Food Handling and Safety is an advantage.
