We are a leading IT support group looking for an experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental objectives and implementing the company's environmental procedures and training program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onboard environmental compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with business units to promote a culture of environmental compliance throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement the company's environmental procedures and training program to embed a culture of compliance.
  • Provide coaching and training to senior officers on environmental compliance and sustainability practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of environmental audit results and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Class 1 Certificate of Competency - Chief Engineer or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of sailing experience at the management level (Engine), with at least 2 years of sailing experience as Chief Engineer.
  • At least 4 years of shore experience dealing with technical management and/or environmental compliance functions.
