Optimize Pharmacy Benefit Management Systems

Based in Bangalore, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to manage and optimize pharmacy benefit management systems. Key responsibilities include ensuring system accuracy, compliance, and alignment with market practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of pharmacy coding systems, data interoperability standards, and possess exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code Management: Review, validate, and update drug codes in the master drug database.
- Clinical Review: Evaluate medical necessity, drug interactions, and contraindications for patient safety.
- Audit and Compliance: Monitor submissions to prevent tariff abuse and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Trend Analysis: Analyze drug consumption patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and formulary optimization.
- Tariff Updates: Conduct periodic reviews of tariff structures and recommend updates for competitive pricing.
- FHIR Standard Support: Assist in integrating the PBM system with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standards.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide actionable insights through data analysis and utilize analytics tools for system performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, healthcare administration, health informatics, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit management systems and healthcare coding systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
