Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced International Business Development Executive to join our team in Singapore.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to drive new business growth and revenue for our organization in Singapore and the South East Asia region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an aggressive new members acquisition plan in Singapore, working closely with the Sales Director and Editorial Director.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and renewal targets in the region.
  • Build and maintain trusted partner relationships at the C-suite level.
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Ensure high levels of market penetration across various sectors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Main Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling content-related solutions to C-suite executives.
  • Able to communicate effectively with senior-level executives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, ability to work independently, and a self-starter mindset.
  • Native or near-native English skills.
  • Confidence in approaching high-level executives and thrives in fast-paced environments.
What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of SGD 80,000 - 120,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development within The Economist Group.
