The National Crime Prevention Council has developed a community watch scheme to build an informed and vigilant community. Members are encouraged to be actively involved in protecting themselves, their families, and loved ones.

This scheme requires minimal commitment and allows flexible involvement. When you sign up, you will receive updates on the latest crime information, alerts, and advisories.

You are encouraged to share this information with your family and friends to raise their awareness. You will also have access to events and training to enhance your knowledge and skills.

If you wish to do more, you can work closely with law enforcement agencies on relevant activities and initiatives that promote the safety and security of your community.

This community watch scheme shifts from a geographical-based approach to an interest-based approach. It aims to engage more community members in safety and security efforts.

The scheme is organized into five broad categories: Home, Work/Learning, Transport, Lifestyle, and Cyber. Under each category, interest groups are formed. You can sign up for any of these groups to receive alerts and crime information relevant to your areas of interest.

By partnering with law enforcement agencies, we can build a safer and more secure community.
