Wildlife Care Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Wildlife Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of animals at our wildlife parks.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that requires minimal supervision and provides opportunities for professional growth and development. As a Wildlife Care Specialist, you will work closely with our animal care team to ensure the health and happiness of our animals.

You will be responsible for:

  • Care and Feeding: Assist in the preparation and serving of food and water to our animals, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Animal Husbandry: Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep our animal enclosures clean and safe.
  • Behavioural Enrichment: Create and implement enrichment programs to stimulate our animals' natural behaviours and promote their mental well-being.
  • Guest Interaction: Participate in guided tours and educational programs to share your knowledge with visitors and promote conservation awareness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A minimum of N/O levels or Diploma in Life Sciences (preferably).
  • Personality: Confident, outgoing, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Availability: Willingness to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
