Mandai Wildlife Reserve is a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks. Our team is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

  • Job Duties: Provide proper and consistent husbandry, housing, care, feeding, training, enrichment, and presentation of the animals to achieve the highest level of positive welfare.
  • Identify and report any abnormalities, signs of possible health concerns and/or behavioral issues in animals.
  • Complete daily recordkeeping forms for feeding, weights, behavior, training, and enrichment as required.
  • Report repairs and renovations as required.
  • Maintain the highest quality of animal presentations and guest interactive programs with the aim to promote conservation.
  • Participate in shows as presenter, handler, and/or backstage support.
  • Conduct training sessions with assigned animals and behaviors within completion timelines.
  • Participate in discussions and contribute to the design and development of new animal behaviors, routines, and presentation ideas for the shows and programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 'N' Level qualification.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in animal care, veterinary medicine, training, or shows is preferred.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Effective and motivated team player.
  • Able to present in front of crowds and work with animals.
  • Able to contribute to new concepts and ideas to improve presentations.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
