Job Title: Research Scientist

Job Description:
The role of Research Scientist involves working with a team to advance research in transition metal complexes. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experiments, synthesizing and characterizing inorganic and organic molecules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily operation of a synthetic laboratory
  • Research including synthesis and characterization of inorganic and organic molecules

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field is required. Experience in undergraduate research in inorganic/organic chemistry is preferred. Skills in basic chemical synthesis and NMR spectroscopy are essential.

About the Project:
The project focuses on the synthesis of luminescent metal complexes under a grant from the Ministry of Education (MOE Tier 1). The candidate will work closely with Assoc Prof Yip Hon Kay John to achieve the project goals.
