Programme Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Programme Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in supporting the activities of special needs students and their families. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional care and support to our students, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the daily activities of special needs students, including engaging them in educational and recreational activities.

- Collaborate with our centre supervisor to ensure smooth operations and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our students.

- Assist with student enrolment, expense management, and other administrative tasks as required.

- Develop and implement programmes that promote the physical, mental, and social development of our students.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and make recommendations for improvements.

- Work closely with our teaching staff to develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of our students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., community and social services).

- 1-3 years of relevant working experience in the social service sector, preferably in a student care setting.

- WSQ certification (Introductory Student Care Centre) is an added advantage.

- Certification in First Aid (CPR & AED) and WSQ Basic Food Hygiene is also beneficial.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
