Job Summary

The Fundraising Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with the charity's goals and objectives. This will involve identifying and engaging with potential donors, developing and maintaining relationships with existing donors, and creating and executing fundraising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a fundraising strategy that meets the charity's goals and objectives
  • Identify and engage with potential donors, including corporate partners and individual donors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing donors, including stewardship and retention
  • Create and execute fundraising campaigns, including events and appeals
  • Manage and analyze fundraising data to inform future strategy
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to ensure alignment with the charity's overall strategy
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure effective financial management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in fundraising
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Proven track record of success in fundraising, including meeting or exceeding fundraising targets
  • Strong relationships with donors, including corporate partners and individual donors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and practices, including donor stewardship and retention
