Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining IT infrastructure using the latest technology. This will include evaluating all systems within an organization to ensure they function efficiently and effectively. The candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with clients and other technical colleagues.

The Infrastructure Specialist will also be required to manage technical deliverables of any projects, determine deployment strategy with project managers, and assist in creating project plans and tracking progress. They will produce and maintain documentation for systems according to document control standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role and a bachelor's degree in a computer science or information technology field. They should also have professional qualifications such as MCSA Windows Server 2012/2016 or MCSE Productivity Exchange 2016. Additional qualifications such as CCNA Routing and Switching or VCP in Data Centre Virtualization would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of enterprise backup solutions such as Symantec or CommVault. They must also have expertise in troubleshooting, Active Directory, VMware, IT infrastructure, Windows Server, Networking, Operating Systems, Disaster Recovery, Virtualization, and Storage Area Networks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science or information technology field
