Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Purpose and Scope:We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, products, and pricing to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability.The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for:
  1. Sourcing and evaluating suppliers, products, and pricing to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness, quality, and reliability;
  2. Preparing and submitting purchase requisitions with complete supporting documentation for management approval;
  3. Preparing purchase orders and ensuring procurement records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date;
  4. Liaising with vendors to confirm order status, delivery timelines, and resolving any issues related to shipments;
  5. Maintaining inventory records and assisting in monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking;
  6. Verifying goods received against purchase orders and delivery notes; investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly;
In addition to the above responsibilities, the Procurement Specialist will also perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, and document control. They will manage office supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained. They will handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally. They will provide clerical support to HR and Finance teams, including invoice filing, leave tracking, and basic document processing. They will assist in salary tabulation, including the preparation and verification of attendance records, overtime claims, and other payroll-related data for processing.Requirements:
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, administrative, or office support roles;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Positive working attitude and strong sense of responsibility;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
