**Role Overview**

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative teaching and learning practices. As a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Teaching & Learning Specialist), you will be responsible for leading and supporting curriculum enhancements, managing projects with partners, conducting research, and driving the adoption of innovative pedagogies and technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Lead and support curriculum enhancements in partnership with academic leaders and stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate projects with partners from across the POLITE sector
• Conduct research in evidence-informed T&L practices using data and learning analytics
• Drive adoption of innovative pedagogies and technologies to enhance PET/CET delivery
• Deliver joint-polytechnic and TP-specific professional development programmes for the academic community
• Explore and implement emerging technologies and approaches to respond to educational problem statements

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in Education, Education Technology, Adult Education or equivalent, and at least 10 years of teaching experience in the polytechnic. You will also need to demonstrate competencies in curriculum design, facilitation of learning, assessment, technology-enhanced learning, and mentoring lecturers in implementing innovative ways of teaching. Additionally, you will need to be an agile team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
