Assistant Professor in Ophthalmic Biomedical Engineering

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) represents a collaborative academic unit formed through the merger of the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering and the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. Faculty members within CCEB engage in pioneering research across various disciplines, including chemistry, chemical engineering, food science, bioengineering, and biotechnology.
We are seeking exceptional candidates for a tenure-track faculty role at the Assistant Professor level, specializing in the field of Ophthalmic Biomedical Engineering. Applicants should possess a clear research agenda and a distinguished publication record in reputable journals. Successful candidates are anticipated to establish innovative, globally recognized, and externally funded research initiatives. Additionally, we are looking for individuals with a strong ability to teach relevant subjects at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including the mentorship and guidance of students.

Qualifications
We are in search of candidates with specialized knowledge and a proven history in areas pertinent to Ophthalmic Biomedical Engineering, particularly in fields such as Ophthalmic Engineering, Ocular Biomechanics, Biomedical Imaging, or Artificial Intelligence applications for Eye Disease Diagnosis and Prognosis.
Compensation
The starting salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the selected candidates, as well as the level of appointment offered.
