Computer Science and Information Technology Programs

The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) is seeking outstanding candidates for a Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor position in the area of Software Engineering. The successful candidate will be part of a rich academic community and contribute to the development of the Computer Science and Information Technology programs.

About the Position

We are particularly interested in individuals who have a strong research record and can teach college-level courses in Software Engineering. The successful candidate will be expected to pursue state-of-the-art research and have an established record of publications in refereed journals.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching college-level courses in Software Engineering, including Fundamentals of Software Engineering, Software Modeling and Analysis, Software Design, Requirements Analysis and Specification, Software Process, Human Computer Interaction, Software Quality, Software Verification and Validation, and Software Security.
  • Pursuing state-of-the-art research in Software Engineering and publishing in refereed journals.
  • Contributing to the development of the Computer Science and Information Technology programs.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

  • A doctorate degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
  • An established record of publications in refereed journals.
  • A demonstrated ability to teach college-level courses in Software Engineering.
  • Experience teaching courses at the MSc and PhD levels in Software Engineering.
