Healthcare Informatics Specialist

You will be responsible for supporting the Institute of Mental Health's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring a secure and efficient medical information system.
Key responsibilities include providing workflow analysis and recommendations, identifying technical issues, and designing test and training plans. You will also serve as the primary support contact and liaison between end users and application implementation staff.
Frequent evaluation of project status and upcoming milestones is required, while adhering to change management guidelines and processes. Certification in a EMR application is preferred, but training will be provided where needed.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy/Allied Health/Nursing/Computing, majoring in healthcare or computer science
- At least 3 to 5 years of clinical working experience, with 1-2 years of healthcare informatics preferred
- Certified with a EMR application preferred
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work and have good organization, people and project management skills
- A strong team player, enthusiastic about learning and able to work independently
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. If you are a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for healthcare informatics, we encourage you to apply.
