About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our procurement team as a Procurement Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our procurement operations, assisting in sourcing and purchasing goods and services.
You will gain hands-on experience in supplier management, negotiation, and cross-department coordination. Your strong organizational skills, good communication abilities, and willingness to learn will be essential assets in this position.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in procuring goods and services based on company requirements.
- Create and process purchase orders (POs) in the system.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate terms.
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure purchasing needs are met.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Support the Purchasing/Procurement Manager with administrative and operational tasks.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management when required.
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates welcome.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
