Job Role and Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to join our team as an Engineering Technical Executive. In this role, you will be part of a core team of technical specialists working at one of our waste management facilities, including Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) and Tuas South Incineration Plant (TSIP).
Key Job Scope:
  1. You will collaborate with project consultants and stakeholders to ensure IWMF is constructed in accordance with design specifications and statutory requirements.
  2. You will participate in testing, commissioning of mechanical, process, electrical, instrument, control, and automation equipment/systems.
  3. You will attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) at local and overseas factories to verify quality and performance of major equipment/systems.

As an Engineering Technical Executive, you will have several key responsibilities, including leading technical specialists and coordinating maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations of the facility. You will also be responsible for implementing preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for the facility's electrical and control equipment, administering contracts for operation and maintenance of mechanical, EICA, or building services equipment, enforcing permit-to-work systems and promoting a safe work culture, assisting in formulating and preparing standard operating procedures and equipment testing/changeover programs, performing shift work in a waste-to-energy facility as needed, and contributing to safety initiatives and continuous improvement to enhance safety culture and standards within the plant.

Requirements:
  • A diploma in any engineering course or Nitec in any engineering course.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience for diploma holders. Fresh diploma graduates can be considered.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience for Nitec holders.
  • Candidates with professional certifications will be given preference.
  • Strong analytical skills and good technical background are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably in Navisworks and Primavera P6.
  • Mature, independent, resourceful, and a good team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
