We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily shipping and logistics operations.

The successful candidate will have experience in marine shipping/logistics within the freight forwarding industry and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to handle inquiries and negotiations diplomatically and have a basic understanding of international trade, shipping regulations, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients to update on shipment status and address their enquiries on shipment movement and arrangement;
  • Collect and forward required clearing and shipping documentation in a timely manner;
  • Manage shipping paperwork, including import/export documents, BL, and permit declarations;
  • Monitor and track shipment status until delivery;
  • Handle inquiries and bookings via phone and email, and provide customer quotations;
Requirements:
  • Experience in Marine Shipping/Logistics within the freight forwarding industry is preferred;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and negotiations diplomatically;
  • Basic understanding of international trade, shipping regulations, and documentation;
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide timely resolution to customer issues;
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and System Software;
