About the Role

The objective of this position is to develop future leaders within CEVA Logistics. New hires will be called Logistics Operations Executives and will progress to become Team Leads in the Contract Logistics Department upon successful completion of the programme.

This 12-month fast-tracked programme provides exposure and knowledge about CEVA Logistics' core businesses and how each function supports and complements each other. The candidate will have the opportunity to apply their learning through a business case challenge, with full autonomy to design and plan the project.

Key Responsibilities

**Operations**

  • Develop a thorough understanding of key processes and material flow necessary to fulfill day-to-day operations.
  • Gain technical knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHEs), Warehouse equipment, and their suitability for the account or Warehouse.
  • Analyze and evaluate the productivity and efficiency of current processes.
  • Develop exposure to external stakeholders and learn how to manage client relations.
  • Gain exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) / related software.
  • Develop knowledge of required documentations and key performance indicators that guide business flows and functions.
  • Develop knowledge of WMS functionalities and supporting tools (e.g., Structured Query Language (SQL), Power Query, etc.).

**Client Relation Management & Systems**

  • Develop exposure to external stakeholders and learn how to manage client relations.
  • Gain exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) / related software.
  • Develop knowledge of required documentations and key performance indicators that guide business flows and functions.
  • Develop knowledge of WMS functionalities and supporting tools (e.g., Structured Query Language (SQL), Power Query, etc.).
  • Apply knowledge and skills in Project Management tools, such as DMAIC, to design and document a project that provides productivity gains and cost savings.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of assigned scope of the project, end-to-end.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's or University Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimum supervision on multiple projects within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong computer and digital skills, including Microsoft Office 365 products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint), apps (Power Query, VBA), and services.
  • Proficiency in presentation skills, verbal and written communication in English is required.
