Job Description

The primary role of this position is to provide drug information and clinical advice to other healthcare professionals and patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing drug information and clinical advice to other healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Assisting in the preparation and administrative work for all Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee matters, including writing drug evaluation reports to justify formulary revisions, assisting with systems set-up for drug use, communicating formulary revisions to other healthcare professionals, and analyzing and reporting data on drug utilization patterns or adverse drug reaction.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to:

  • Work and coordinate with intra- and inter-department stakeholders to provide smooth and safe flows of medication use within the hospital.
  • Participate in drug information/medication safety activities as required by Pharmacy.
  • Assist in training of pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy students in the drug information section.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) from an accredited University recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  • 2 to 3 years of working experience in a hospital setting is preferable.
  • Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
  • Valid practicing certificate.
