About the Role

The Programme Officer will play a pivotal part in supporting day-to-day operations and programmes. This involves coordinating with team members, managing external relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of events and processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Develop and execute short-term and long-term plans, oversee onboarding, training, and retention of staff, and manage personnel databases.
  • Operational Support: Assist with daily operational matters, including responding to stakeholders, and maintain accountability for effective execution of all operational tasks.
  • Event and Project Coordination: Support event planning and activities, coordinate with staff and stakeholders, and take ownership of new initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Provide support for grant applications and fundraising events, create synergies between projects, and assist senior leadership in presenting updates and progress reports.
  • Impact Evaluation and Reporting: Measure and evaluate programme impact through data analysis and reports, identify trends and opportunities to enhance social impact.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in social sciences, development studies, nonprofit management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social impact, programme management, or community work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Mission-driven, problem-solver, collaborative team player.
