Job Title: Japanese Kitchen Team Lead

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled senior member of our kitchen team to lead and assist the chef in preparing and cooking a wide range of Japanese dishes.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality to our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of kitchen staff and ensure seamless communication to deliver high-quality food to our customers.
  • Prepare and cook Japanese dishes with precision and flair, maintaining the highest standards of presentation and quality control.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and assist in ordering supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring it is stored correctly.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures.
