At Alstom, we're looking for a skilled ILS Engineer to join our team in supporting the Operations/Engineering Manager and ILS Manager of the Long Term Service Support (LTSS) for the delivery of contractual services for the SMRT Circle Line (CCL).

The successful candidate will act as a critical member of the Project Core Team, ensuring the successful completion of assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets, and scope to the required quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a material demand forecasting system to ensure adequacy of inventory levels in accordance with Operators' planned maintenance packages.
  • Inventory optimisation to maintain contract inventory service level.
  • Performance tracking to ensure parts availability and avoid impact to fleet reliability/availability.
  • Preparing and reporting of ILS and OPS performance to the Project Core Team.
  • Coordinating between internal and external agencies to place requests and monitor repairs of assemblies, including maintaining a pool of serviceable components.
  • Providing operation and technical support to the Project Core Team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering with 3-4 years of related working experience or a diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering with 6-8 years of related working experience.

Key skills include:

  • Good communication skills at all levels.
  • Customer engagement and management in delivering high standards of service.
  • Working experience in Project Management, ILS, or Supply Chain/Warehouse.
  • Proficient in MS office applications, including SAP ERP systems.
  • Understanding and interpreting commercial and contractual documents to execute obligations.
