Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hub Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of cargo through our airport terminals.

Your duties will include retrieving and tendering cargo from/to agents at the airport cargo terminals, sorting incoming/outgoing packages and splitting them to X-ray machines, preparing clearance documentation and verifying receipt of cargo, scanning all import/export packages, breaking bags into UPS air bags, loading and unloading packages from company vehicles, forklifting pallets and irregulars for sorting or breakdown, and managing contractors assisting with loading and unloading.

  • Daily Tasks:
  • Retrieve and tender cargo from/to agents at the airport cargo terminals
  • Sort incoming/outgoing packages and split them to X-ray machines

  • Scan all import/export packages
  • Break bags into UPS air bags
  • Load and unload packages from company vehicles

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: Secondary education or equivalent preferred
  • Driving License: Possessing a Class 3 driving license is advantageous
  • Experience: 1-2 years relevant experience preferred
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to carry packages up to 30kg
  • Languages: Basic English speaking and writing skills
  • Work Schedule: Willingness to work shifts
