Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ship Repair Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ship repair and maintenance projects, with strong knowledge of marine systems and ship repair practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising ship repair and maintenance projects, conducting inspections and troubleshooting, and liaising with ship owners and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise ship repair & maintenance projects (afloat & shipyard).
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting & diagnostics for marine systems (engines, pumps, motors, gearboxes).
  • Liaise with ship owners, class surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Prepare repair specs, schedules, and technical reports.
  • Monitor project costs, timelines & quality.
  • Lead and guide technicians/workers to deliver efficient & safe services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma/Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years' relevant experience in ship repair/shipyard/marine engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of marine systems & ship repair practices.
  • Leadership skills with ability to meet deadlines.
