Job Title:Driver and Care Assistant

About the Role:

The Driver and Care Assistant is responsible for transporting residents from the nursing home to their medical appointments, while also providing clinical care assistance.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport residents from the nursing home for their routine medical appointments
  • Coordinate with the Manager in planning the route and timing of transport
  • Maintain cleanliness and working condition of the van
  • Attend to any other delivery requirements or errands when needed


Qualifications and Skills:
  • Primary education or equivalent
  • Able to speak and understand simple English
  • Good organizational ability
  • Class 3 Driving License
  • Defensive Driving skills
  • CPR + AED certification
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
