Electrical Design Engineers are pivotal in shaping the infrastructure of airports worldwide. Their role encompasses planning, designing, and constructing high-voltage power distribution systems and electrical building services for airport development projects.

Main responsibilities include assisting in the design of airport airfield lighting systems and airfield ground lighting and control monitoring systems, developing and preparing design drawings and documentations required for tender calling of capital expenditure and operating expenditure projects, working closely with in-house design teams and other consultants to ensure code and regulatory compliance, quality, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and maintainability of the system, and managing and coordinating construction implementation to ensure design meets user needs, within budget and schedule, and meeting highest quality standards.

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A good degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in planning, design, implementation, and project management of high-voltage electrical power distribution systems and building services for large-scale infrastructure or commercial development
  • Good knowledge of design codes and standards for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Self-motivated, driven, assertive, and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and develop technical drawings, specs, and requirements

This is a contract position with possible renewal.
