Sheet Metal Fabrication Project Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Project Manager to lead our end-to-end sheet metal fabrication projects.

This role involves overseeing cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and cost control throughout the production process. Key responsibilities include managing sheet metal fabrication projects from quotation to final delivery, collaborating with design and engineering teams to review drawings and ensure manufacturability, developing project timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress against key milestones. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating regularly with clients regarding project updates, changes, and technical requirements, ensuring product quality by coordinating with QA/QC and implementing corrective actions when needed, optimizing cost, material usage, and production efficiency without compromising quality or deadlines, and managing vendor relationships and coordinating outsourced processes such as surface treatments, laser cutting, and bending.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or mechanical project management. Strong knowledge of metalworking processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and surface finishing is necessary, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills. Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, and bilingual skills in Mandarin and English are a plus for client and supplier communication.
