Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabrication Manager

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Manager to oversee our sheet metal fabrication projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of metalworking processes and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sheet metal fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion and quality output.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review drawings and ensure manufacturability.
  • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress against key milestones.
  • Optimize cost, material usage, and production efficiency without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outsourced processes, such as surface treatments and laser cutting.
  • Operate welding machines and perform welding tasks according to engineering drawings and job requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates, changes, and technical requirements.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or mechanical project management.
  • Strong knowledge of metalworking processes, including laser cutting, bending, welding, and surface finishing.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD files.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and forklift license is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English is preferred for client and supplier communication.
